In order to avoid reaching of kids or teenagers to pornography content, a bill is passed in British Council. According to the Ministry, in order to have a safe childhood children should not be in reach of social media or especially those sites which do not have age verification system. Age verification is done while you make an account on any website. But some of the renowned websites still don’t ask this question. This verification is basically put to avoid adult content for every particular account.

"One of the main ways in which young people are now exposed to pornography is through social media such as Twitter, and I do not really see that the bill will do anything to stop that happening," Mr. Whitting dale said. Twitter takes a step to avoid "pornographic or excessively violent media" from restricting them on profiles but still content is revolving on the site by way of posts.

"I appreciate that there is a big challenge in stopping those who really want to access porn online, but all the evidence suggests that children's first interaction is often by accident," Mr. Hancock said.

"We are legislating to prevent as much as possible of that inadvertent viewing by those who are not desperately actively seeking to do so.” "I appreciate that the bill is not a utopia, but it is a very important step forward," he added

But everyone still believes that there are a lot of ways is open for a kid to reach porn other than twitter or other online social media. And twitter totally declines to comment on this.
