New Delhi: The ruckus is increasing all over the country against the new Agneepath scheme of the Narendra Modi government. Trains were also set on fire in many states and slogans were also raised. During this, all the doors of ITO and Dhansa metro stations have been closed on Friday in view of the demonstration of All India Students Association (AISA) against Agneepath scheme in Delhi.
AISA members also demonstrated against the attitude of the police. DMRC tweeted, 'All doors of ITO and Dhansa metro station are closed.' DMRC has said that the entry and exit gates of some other metro stations including Delhi Gate and Jama Masjid have also been closed for some time. However, later the doors of all the stations have been opened.
The demonstrators were seen holding placards, which read 'Recruitment on permanent basis to all vacant posts in Armed Forces immediately', 'Withdraw Agneepath scheme' and 'Modi Sarkar Jaag Jao'. Along with which slogans were also raised at ITO. The protesters also started raising slogans of 'Take back the fire, dictatorship will not work'. The student group claimed that several of its members were detained during the protests. However, the police has not given any information about this yet.
