NEW DELHI: Rajiv Saxena, accused in the AugustaWestland chopper scam case, has filed an application before the apex court seeking permission to go abroad. During the hearing on Tuesday, the supreme court asked Rajiv Saxena's lawyer to explain by Wednesday (June 25) whether two security worth Rs 5-5 crore could submit to the court. The apex court will hear the case on Wednesday.

During the hearing of the case, the court told the Enforcement Directorate (ED) that, "We can understand your apprehension, if Rajiv Saxena goes out, he will not come back." But do you not have the power to bring it back? The court further said that we will further tighten the conditions on Rajiv Saxena. ED has said that Rajiv Kumar has a lot of important information. The ED has said that Rajiv Saxena has no relatives.

Ed has said that Rajiv Saxena is accused in the 100 crore scam case. Rajiv Saxena has said that his sister and sister in law are here. In fact, the ED has challenged the Delhi High Court's decision in the apex court which allowed Rajiv Saxena to go abroad. The Delhi High Court had allowed Rajiv Saxena to go abroad on health grounds. According to the Delhi High Court order, Rajiv will be abroad from June 25 to July 24.
