Amroha: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday  launched a raid at homes of two suspects, who were nabbed last week in links with its investigation into the new Islamic State module of Harkat-ul-Harb-e-Islam.

Reports suggested that The suspects whose homes were raided this morning are Saeed (28) and Raees Ahmed. According to locals, the NIA team reached at their homes at around 5:30 am.

On Sunday also, the counter-terror investigating agency had carried out searches at few places in east Delhi's Jafarabad area and cross examined some people as part of its investigation.

On December 26, the NIA had  nabbed 10 people, including the group head Mufti Mohammad Suhail, as they were allegedly plotting terror attacks targeting some VVIPs and crowded places in the national capital Delhi and its surrounded regions.

Reports further said that the NIA had raided more than 17 places in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh's Amroha, Lucknow, Meerut and Hapur. According to the reports of Times now  During its search, the probing agency had found a country-made rocket launcher, 12 pistols, 112 alarm clocks, 100 mobile phones, 135 SIM cards, many laptops and various electronic gadgets, and 150 rounds of grenades.
