Jodhpur: A woman doctor committed suicide by coming from duty in the afternoon at the residential complex of Jodhpur AIIMS in Rajasthan. This matter is shocking. As per the information received in the case, the doctor was posted as a physiotherapist in the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur. The doctor's name is said to be Neeru Soni. Last Saturday afternoon, Neeru Soni reached home after completing her duty and then spoke to her mother-in-law and children at home and reached her room and closed the door.
Shortly thereafter, they were reported to have committed suicide. In this case, it is also being reported that Dr. Puneet Sethia, husband of Dr. Neeru Soni, is working as an Additional Professor at, Department of Forensic Medicine at AIIMS itself. The husband was in his department at AIIMS at the time of the incident. As per the information received, he immediately rushed to AIIMS Emergency where doctors tried to save his wife Dr. Neeru by giving CPR to save her but could not save her.
Doctors declared her brought dead. Jodhpur Basni police officer Pana Chaudhary rushed to the spot after receiving information about the case. At present, the FSL team is being called and the spot is being investigated. In this case, ACP Noor Mohammad says, "Dr. Neeru's daughter wanted to call her friend home and celebrate her birthday. The mother did not like this, which led to a dispute between the mother and daughter, and then Neeru got annoyed and locked herself in the room and committed suicide.''
