New Delhi: A plane coming from Saudi Arabia's Riyadh to Calicut, Kerala, narrowly escaped a major accident late on Sunday night. The Air India Express flight (IX 1322) had some problems with the tires, which the pilot found after take-off. After this, the pilot made an emergency landing of the flight, this landing was done at Kochi Airport. Because Calicut airport is a tabletop airport, where it is not easy to do such a landing.

When the landing took place at Kochi airport, the plane's tires exploded. However, there was no loss to the passengers. According to the information, there were a total of 118 passengers aboard the plane at that time, in addition to the cabin crew members who were also present in the aircraft. After the emergency landing at Kochi airport here, all the passengers were sent to Calicut by another plane. Let it be said that this is the second time in the last three days when the emergency landing of the aircraft of Air India Express has been done.

Earlier on Friday, the aircraft from Karipur to Kuwait had some technical problems, after which it also had to make an emergency landing. The aircraft had 17 passengers, 8 crew members.
