New Delhi: Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Thursday said the new variant of corona virus is extremely dangerous for Omicron countries and the whole world needs to avoid it. In the Lok Sabha, Scindia said that we had been gradually increasing the operation of flights for more than six months. It also included international flights.

Scindia said Omicron has brought damage to all countries of the world. We all need to be safe from it. He said that our Government has prepared a list of 11 countries at risk. Tell us that international commercial flights were scheduled to start in India from December 15. But on Wednesday, the DGCA issued a statement saying that in view of the Omicron, DGCA will review its old decision again.

Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that an inquiry has been initiated at airports for people coming from 11 countries including UK, South Africa and Israel in view of the threat of new variant 'Omicron' of corona virus. This information was given to the House in response to supplementaries of Manish Tewari, Chinta Anuradha and some other members during question hour in the Lok Sabha.
