The first look of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Nandini, The Queen of Pazhuvoor from PS-1 is out now. The actress will be starring in the Mani Ratnam film Ponniyin Selvan: 1, an upcoming Tamil epic period drama. Along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the movie will also star Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, and Shobhita Dhulipala among others. 

Sharing the first look on social media, the production house wrote, “Vengeance has a beautiful face! Meet Nandini, the Queen of Pazhuvoor! #PS1 releasing in theatres on 30th September in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.” 

Dressed in bespoke silk and traditional jewellery, Aishwarya looked mesmerising on the poster of PS: 1. The actress could be seen looking away from the camera with her hair styled in a middle-parted touseled do. Aishwarya flaunted a statement nose pin with a medium-sized red bindi and a maang-tika adorning her forehead.

After the look went viral fans started sharing their love calling it a breathtaking and stunning look. Aish look has been trending on different social media platforms. She has been receiving loads of praise from fans and other celebrities.

 The actress also received a shout-out from her husband Abhishek Bachchan. On his Instagram story, Abhishek shared Aishwarya's post and dropped a huge red heart emoticon.

Ponniyin Selvan also known as PS-I, is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language epic period drama film directed and co-produced by Mani Ratnam, under his production studio Madras Talkies, along with Allirajah Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions. It is the first of two cinematic parts based on Kalki Krishnamurthy's 1955 novel Ponniyin Selvan. The film is written by Ratnam along with Elango Kumaravel and B. Jeyamohan.

It stars an ensemble cast of Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Jayaram, Sobhita Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Vikram Prabhu and Ashwin Kakumanu.
