October 2, yesterday was Gandhi Jayanti and also second anniversary of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Celebs who are active part of this cleanliness cause felicitated the event. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was the main speaker of event. Also Adnan Sami, Sukhwinder Singh and Rekha Bhardwaj attended the show.

The event organized as the second edition of the India Today Safaigiri Awards 2016 yesterday. All know our Prime Minister Narendra Modi started this Abhiyan to clean India.The event lasted whole day and musicians added their singing to make the event more interesting.

M.Venkaiah Naidu, Union Minister of Urban Development, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation and Information and Broadcasting at the awards night was joined by Aishwarya later.
