Let us tell you that Ajay Devgn has started his shooting for Drishyam 2 in Mumbai and will be shooting extensively in Goa in the next months. According to reports, Drishyam 2 will also include the star cast of the first film including Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta. Yes and the film starts seven years after the events of the first film and Vijay will go to great lengths to protect his family. Let us tell you that the aim of this film is to provide justice to the crime-thriller genre in every possible way. Pathak, the director of the film, says, "It is an honor and a challenge to make an official remake of a successful franchise film."

Let us also tell you all that the first film Drishyam was directed by Nishikant Kamat which was released in 2015. Yes and the film is a remake of the 2013 Malayalam language film of the same name. The film was jointly produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Ajit Andhare and Abhishek Pathak, and starred Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Shriya Saran. Apart from these, Ishita Dutta and Mrinal Jadhav were also in this film.
