A report flashed a week before stated that Akshay Kumar is interested in making a film on the Raniganj Coalfield rescue mission and he is about to acquire the rights to make the movie. But surprisingly, Ajay Devgn has already acquired the rights.
A source revealed, "Last week Akshay heard the Raniganj Coalfield rescue mission story (1969), where 64 miners were trapped in a coal mine hundreds of feet underground and was keen to act in it. He was in the process of acquiring the rights to the film when he learned that Ajay has already acquired the official rights for the story from JS Gill (currently based in Amritsar) who rescued his team at the Raniganj coal mines."
Akshay and Ajay have already been working on different versions of the Battle of Sargarhi.
