Mumbai: The NCP has not yet received the Congress' letter of support since Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari invited to form the government. When the journalist questioned NCP leader Ajit Pawar about this, he attacked the Congress itself. Journalist asked, Congress alleges that NCP is delaying decision making in Maharashtra? On this, Ajit Pawar said in Marathi that, 'Laj wattete hai ka' in Hindi 'Are you ashmed?'
This means the NCP is angry about the delay of the Congress party. It also simply means that the delay is not being done by the NCP but by the Congress party and the blight is being blamed on the head of the NCP which is not right. Speaking to the media in Ajit Pawar said that, 'The Governor has asked for the names of all the MLAs, their constituency and their signature, which is not possible in such a short time.
Pawar further said that the Maharashtra unit of the Congress party should take a decision and talk to the high command over the phone. Conversations can also happen by doing so. Even if President's rule comes into force, after that whenever we have the figure of 145, we will go to the Governor and put a claim to form the government. The NCP is fully prepared, just the letter of support from the Congress party did not come. The churning phase is still going on in the Congress party.
