Mumbai: Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar has reacted to son Parth Pawar's controversial tweet. He said that it is not my job to keep watching what Parth tweeted, and the entire Maharashtra has a lot of responsibilities on my shoulder. In fact, Parth Pawar had indirectly attacked the Uddhav Thackeray government of the state over the Maratha reservation.
In a tweet on the suicide of a Maratha youth from Beed district, Parth Pawar had said, "I am deeply saddened by the death of Vivke Bhede. Maratha leaders will wake up before the series of such unfortunate events begin. In another tweet, Parth Pawar had said, "The flame that Vivek has ignited in our minds can set the whole system ablaze. The future of an entire generation is at stake. I have no choice but to approach the Hon’ble Supreme Court and file an intervenor application in the Maratha reservation matter pending before it."
Parth Pawar's tweet had led to a landslide in state politics. On this, Parth's father and deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar said everyone is free to tweet. He said that his sister MP Supriya Sule has already played a role in the Maratha reservation, the same role that the NCP has, that every component of the society should have their right, reservation.
The flame that Vivek has ignited in our minds can set the whole system ablaze. The future of an entire generation is at stake. I have no choice but to approach the Hon’ble Supreme Court and file an intervenor application in the Maratha reservation matter pending before it.
