MUMBAI: Gurpreet Bedi, a former Himalayan Femina Miss Natural Beauty, and Akash Jagga, an actor from "Kasautii Zindagii Kay," have joined the cast of Ekta Kapoor's newest programme, "Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharam Patnii." They discussed their respective parts in the programme and their common experiences playing them.

The main characters in the daily soap will be played by Fahmaan Khan and Kritika Singh Yadav.

It is the narrative of two very different characters named Ravi (Fahmaan) and Pratiksha (Kritika). Gurpreet is viewed as Ravi's boyhood friend, and Akash is seen as Pratiksha's soon-to-be husband Malhar Thakur, an aspirant for the IPS.

Regarding her position, Gurpreet said: "I'll be playing the part of Keerti, a cheerful and attractive young woman who adheres to the maxim that sharing is caring. Despite having opposing ideals, she and Ravi, the love of her life, are profoundly in love with one another. This is a tale about how destiny has other plans and there isn't much we can do to stop what is bound to happen." However, Akash, who worked on "Naagin 6," "Sasural Simar Ka 2," and other films, gave a description of his character, saying: "Malhar Thakur, the character I portray, is a dreamer who will do anything to fulfil his goals. With this demanding role, I can't wait to hone my acting skills." Colors will telecast "Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharam Patnii" shortly.
