New Delhi: Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Monday took a jibe at Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former CM Akhilesh Yadav. In Banda, the Union Minister said that, 'The wave of this time shows that only lotus is going to bloom in Bundelkhand. Akhilesh ji will not be able to cross even the 100 mark after seven phases and on 10th March he will have a statement that EVM is unfaithful. He (Akhilesh) is also going to lose to Karhal. People will not accept SP's 'gunda raj', 'mafia raj' and nexus with terrorists."

It is noteworthy that Akhilesh Yadav had targeted the BJP on Sunday, saying that as the elections are progressing, the BJP is moving towards zero and ghosts will dance at the party's booth till the seventh phase. Akhilesh Yadav addressed election public meetings in support of party candidates in Barabanki, Ayodhya and Unnao and made a strong appeal to make them win. He said that injustice and atrocities are being done to every section. People are teaching them a lesson in elections. Now no one will be able to stop the speed of the cycle.

Akhilesh had claimed that the BJP has been wiped out in the first and second phases of the UP elections and the party leaders and workers have become cold. He said that as the elections are progressing, BJP leaders are becoming cold because they do not understand what the people want. Youth wants jobs in the state, people want to get rid of inflation, farmers want price for their crops and BJP leaders don't talk about it.
