Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav is on a three-day visit to Purvanchal to address the proposed assembly elections in 2022 in Uttar Pradesh. His tour of Varanasi, Jaunpur and Mirzapur has started from Thursday. He will reach Jaunpur via Varanasi on Thursday as part of the campaign to drive the cycle.
According to the SP's program, after landing at Babatpur Airport in Varanasi, he will directly go to Jaunpur. He has a program to return to Varanasi again. On 26 February, he will be in Varanasi, the constituency of PM Narendra Modi. After this, he has a tour of Mirzapur on 27 February. Akhilesh will reach Jaunpur by road from Lucknow after landing at Babatpur Airport in Varanasi. He was MLA here four times from Machilishar. He will also meet the bereaved family of Haji Afzal, who was MLA from Jwala Yadav and Sadar.
He will also visit the residence of Former MLA Late Jwala Yadav in Jamalpur village of Machilishahar at one o'clock. After expressing condolences there, he will come to Mizarpur and meet the victim's family and take information about the incident. After this, he will pay homage to the house of Haji Afzal Ahmad, former of Miramast Mohalla of the city at three o'clock in the afternoon. Akhilesh can also take a night's rest in Jaunpur.
