Akhilesh Yadav's allegation: 'Yogi Raj' has most fake encounters

New Delhi: Samajwadi Party (SP) National President and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav has attacked the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh. He said Uttar Pradesh has had the highest number of fake encounters. At the same time, he said that the state has the highest number of encounters on the basis of caste and creed.

Hitting out at the Yogi government, Akhilesh Yadav said that the custodial death has also been the highest in Uttar Pradesh and most of the notices from NHRC have also been given to UP. In the meantime, he said that the Yogi government is giving its own developmental work done in the SP regime. Youth in the state do not have employment. This government is not functioning properly. According to NCRB data for the year 2020, one rape case is registered every 2 hours in Uttar Pradesh. The rape case against children has been reported every 90 minutes.

According to NCRB, a total of 4322 rape cases were registered in Uttar Pradesh in 2018. This directly means that about 12 rape cases were reported every day. 59445 cases were registered against women in 2018 which means that 162 cases of crime against women per day were registered which is 7 cents higher than in 2017.
