Lucknow: SP president Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday evening attended an Iftar party in Lucknow. It has been constantly coming to the fore for some time now that some Muslim leaders are angry with them after the assembly elections. All is not well at the party. Just a few days ago, senior Samajwadi Party leader Salman Javed Rhine had resigned in support of Azam Khan. He had also accused Akhilesh Yadav of not speaking for Muslims. Salman Javed is the SP secretary from the Sultanpur assembly seat. He had said that Akhilesh has maintained silence on the action being taken against Samajwadi Party leaders, due to which he is resigning. There has been a voice in the Samajwadi Party in support of Azam Khan. Recently, on April 11, Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav was put under question. Azam Khan's media in-charge Fasahat Ali Khan Shanu had alleged that Akhilesh Yadav does not want Azam Khan to come out of jail. Fasahat Ali made the allegations while justifying chief minister Yogi's statement.
