NEW DELHI: Akhilesh Yadav, the president of the Aamajwadi Party, met with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) in the national capital on Saturday and discussed a number of iissues.
KCR is in Delhi as part of a week-long tour of the country to attend national political and social events. Yadav met with the chief minister at his official residence on Tughlaq Road in this city.
"Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, met with Chief Minister KC Rama Rao. Their meeting is currently taking place. According to an official statement, the two leaders are addressing a range of national issues.
According to the Telangana chief minister's schedule, he will meet with political, media, and economic experts, as well as provide assistance to the families of soldiers who have died in the line of duty. Rao will also meet with the families of those who perished fighting the Centre in the "battle for farmers' rights." He will begin his Chandigarh tour on May 22 in the afternoon.
Rao will meet with 600 farmers' families who gave their life in the nationwide farmers' agitation against the now-defunct Central farm laws.
