Lucknow: The ban on the use of mobile phones of patients admitted to isolation wards of second and third tier Covid hospitals was ordered by Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh. After which SP President and former CM of UP Akhilesh Yadav has attacked the Yogi government on Sunday. He said that this ban is so that the reality of the plight of hospitals does not reach the public.

Akhilesh tweeted, "If the infection spreads from mobile, it should be banned in the entire country with separate wards. The truth of the maladministration and the plight of hospitals should not reach the public, that is why this ban has been imposed. The need is not to ban mobiles but to make hospitals infection free. ''

Amid the lockdown implemented due to Corona epidemic, the UP government has banned the use of mobile phones by patients in separate wards of second and third level Covid hospitals. Director General (Medical Education) Dr. KK Gupta issued orders to the heads of all medical universities, medical institutes and all government and private medical colleges, saying that the infection spreads by mobile.
