200 Congress workers join BJP before Madhya Pradesh by-election

Bhopal: Around 200 Congress workers on Saturday joined BJP in the presence of CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan, including many prominent leaders, during an event organized in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. It is being told that most of these are loyal to the house of Gwalior, who left the Congress due to Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Bye-elections are to be held in Madhya Pradesh. In such a situation, the leaders of the party are now engaged in increasing interaction with the officials. Recently, former minister Tulsi Silavat joined BJP along with supporters. Now many supporters of former minister Dr Prabhuram Chauthary have joined BJP. CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan himself and state BJP unit president Vishnudutt Sharma got him membership. The BJP said that the rules of social distancing were fully followed in the program.

Most of the workers who joined the BJP were from Sanchi and Raisen Nagar. During this, CM Shivraj Singh said that BJP is a party of workers and together they will strengthen it. At the same time, former CM and Congress leader Kamal Nath alleged that the social distancing of the program was blown off.
