Here Pheri 3 is one of the most loved couples in the Bollywood Franchise but recently reports surfaced on the internet. As of now, Akshay Kumar is not a part of part 3. Akshay Kumar himself confirms that he is not a part of the film. Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan is all set for part 3 and according to reports, he is going to play Akshay role in the film.

Suniel Shetty clears the air regarding Akshay’s role. He said, "That (getting Akshay back in the film) would be the best thing to happen. There are speculations that Kartik replaced Akshay. See, Akshay cannot be replaced. The makers are in talks with Kartik for a completely different character. So, there's no argument."

He further added, "That void will always be there. What finally happens is something that needs to be seen. I am not aware because I am genuinely busy with Dharavi Bank. I have had no time to sit down and work on all this. After November 19, I'll sit down and understand and talk to Akki and others and see what happened."

Earlier Akshay Kumar also confirmed this and said, “The film was offered to me but I was not satisfied with the script. I have to do what people want to see. That is why, I backed out. I took a step behind. It is a part of my life and journey for me. I am also very sad that I can't do it. But I am not happy with how the creative things have shaped out. Hera Pheri has been a part of me and I have good memories about it. Mujhe bhi dukh hota hai ki itne saalon se woh film bani nahi matlab uske aage ka part 3. (I am also upset that this film has still not been made, the third part.) We have to dismantle things. We have to start thinking in a different way.”

Hera Pheri released in 2000, starring Akshay, Suniel, Paresh Rawal, and Tabu. Directed by Priyadarshan, it was a success making ₹18 crore at the box office. The sequel Phir Hera Pheri was directed by the late Neeraj Vora. The 2006 film earned ₹69 crore at the box office.
