Yesterday, Akshay Kumar at an international conference on human trafficking talked about an incident from his own life wherein he was sexually molested when he was a kid. "Let me share my own experience with you all here. When I was a very young kid, a lift-man once touched me inappropriately. Since I had good communication with my parents, I told them about this incident," Akki said.

He added, "Parents and children must have a free interaction so that such offenders are identified immediately."

Also earlier while talking about piracy of his upcoming film, the actor said, "Piracy nahi hui, galat baat hai, Crime Branch ne kuch hone se pehle hi use pakad liya tha. (There has been no piracy. Before anything could be published online, the Crime Branch stopped it) Nothing is there online, I would thank the Crime Branch for it."
