Saran: The death of five persons under suspicious circumstances in the Saran district of Bihar has created an uproar. The family members of the deceased alleged that the deaths occurred due to drinking poisonous liquor. But the local administration is not ready to say anything about this. It is being told that the health of more than half a dozen people deteriorated on Tuesday night in Doila village of Mashrak and border Isuapur. Then one by one, 5 people died. While many people are said to be seriously ill.

The deceased have been identified as Sanjay Singh son of Vakil Singh, resident of Doila village of Isuapur police station area, Harinder Ram son of Ganesh Ram, and Kunal Singh resident of Yadu Mod of border Masrakh police station area. Amit Ranjan son of father Vijendra Prasad Sinha, a resident of Doila in Isuapur, died late at night during treatment at Sadar Hospital.

As soon as the news of poisonous liquor spread, the hands and feet of the administration gloated. Sadar Hospital was converted into a cantonment. It is said that all of them had consumed alcohol at a place on Monday evening. After that, their condition started deteriorating from Tuesday. In the evening, all of them were admitted to the Masrakh health center. After treatment there, 5 people died on being referred to Chhapra, while one is undergoing treatment in Chhapra. As soon as the news of the incident was received, the police and top officials reached the spot and started investigating the matter. Earlier also, incidents of deaths due to drinking poisonous liquor have been reported in many districts of Bihar. Police said that the matter is being investigated in depth.
