Australia-born Alex Hepburn was jailed for rape : In 2013, Australia-born Alex Hepburn went to England. The reason for this was that they wanted to play there. Alex Hepburn was seen playing for the Worcestershire team in county cricket. In 2017, a woman accused him of rape. In which the woman told that Hepburn had raped her in the room of her fellow player and raped me. In the same case last year, the court sentenced Australia-born Alex Hepburn to 5 years. According to a report published in The West Australian, Alex Hepburn has now made an appeal against the punishment he received. Which will be heard today by Lord Chief Justice Lord Burnett. However, no decision has been made about what has been said about the appeal.
Something like this was the case against Alex Hepburn: The woman told in front of the jury that she met England player Joe Clarke in a pub. They became friends and she was in his room after some time. After some time there was darkness. They told that because of the half-way they thought that she is sleeping with Clarke. But Alex Hepburn was in the room at that time. He told that the use of Australian language and the way he touched his hair. It was known to him that he was Hepburn. He was praising her and convincing her to make a physical connection. When she did not agree to this, Alex Hepburn raped her.
Australia-born Hepburn's cricket career ended: All allegations made by woman were not considered correct. But the rape proved to be the case. Due to which he has been sentenced to 5 years. Now what will be decided on appeal will be seen. His career also made a big difference in county cricket. Now he is banned from playing cricket on his life.
