After Sushant Singh Rajput's death, debate on nepotism has continued in Bollywood. Alia and Ranbir have always been dragged into the nepotism case on social media.

According to media reports, Vikram Bhatt has gone to the rescue of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Vikram Bhatt believes audiences have made both of them a star. Vikram Bhatt said, "If the audience did not praise the work of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, both of them would not have been stars today. That's why they got love from the public and has made them a great artist".

Vikram Bhatt said, "There are many actors and directors in the industry whose film background has given them work. But the audience did not like their work and they have been rejected. Nepotism is also being discussed with the rest of the cases. Sunny Deol's son Karan Deol has been launched in the film 'Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas'.
