Bangalore: The hijab controversy that started from a college in Karnataka has now reached Aligarh as well. At Aligarh Dharma Samaj Degree College, students had protested on the campus with a saffron Chola wearing a saffron Chola against the hijab and then submitted a memorandum demanding a ban on the burqa in the college. After this, political rhetoric was also seen in Aligarh.

After which, the college administration has posted the notice to implement the dress code banning the burqa, gamchha on the college campus. After this, the students are discussing this notice. Mohit Chaudhary, a student of Dharma Samaj Mahavidyalaya, said that he has done LLB from here. He said that they had earlier submitted a memorandum to the principal informing him that hijab-hat and burqa should be banned here.

The student said that after the dispute escalated, it has come to notice that the college administration has posted the notice. We came to college wearing saffron two days ago to protest against the burqa. We are demanding the college administration to ensure that these rules are followed at the earliest. If this does not happen, hindu students will come back to the college with saffron wear.
