Hyderabad: On August 9, a fire broke out in COVID care center in Andhra Pradesh. After this incident, the Telangana administration has issued a strong rule. The Telangana administration has now asked all hospitals and Covid care centres to strictly follow the fire safety rules. A letter has been sent to hospitals and COVID care centres.

In this letter, Srinivas Rao, Director of the Public Health Department has given many instructions. He has said that "Many private hospitals are using hotels as Covid care centres where patients with mild symptoms are being kept in isolation." In addition, he also cited the example of a hotel converted into a Covid care centre in Vijayawada. He told that 10 people died due to fire in it.

Apart from this, the letter sent by him also stated "In view of this, all hospitals and COVID care centres are instructed to follow fire safety rules. Any violation will be taken seriously. However, since this accident, many people are becoming cautious and are thinking about taking precautions. In view of the increasing cases of corona, many COVID centres are being built. Instructions are being issued to look after them. All are on alert since the fire accident."
