Phoolan Devi is a name that has earned a lot of name not only in the world of dacoity but also in the corridors of politics. Phoolan Devi, who suffered the biggest pain in the world at a young age, was born on this day in the year 1963. Phoolan was born in Goraha, a small village in Uttar Pradesh, to a sailor in Purva.  At the age of just 11, she had seen the worst day of her life. At the age of 11, she was tied in the bond of marriage. However, she was soon abandoned by her husband and family. It was very difficult for an 11-year-old innocent child to bear it all.

Since childhood, she faced many kinds of miseries. Se hurt the robbery and she gradually emerged as the head of the gang of dacoits. However, even in this world of hell, she had to go through bad behavior many times. Some villagers allegedly mistreated Phoolan before forming the gang. Where in the fire of revenge, Phoolan took the path of Beehad.

After stepping into the world of dacoity, Phoolan Devi suddenly became a matter of discussion on everyone's tongue in the year 1981. During the decade of caste discrimination in the 80s, Phoolan Devi murdered 22 upper caste people simultaneously. All were (zamindar) people of the (Thakur) caste. However, Phoolan denied this. Phoolan later embraced Buddhism and she was then ready to step into political circles. Where in 1996 Phoolan won (Lok Sabha) election from Bhadohi seat of Uttar Pradesh and she became an MP. Phoolan Devi could not remain active in politics for long and she was murdered by Sher Singh Rana at her residence in Delhi on 25 July 2001.
