The humid weather has once again taken a turn in Delhi and NCR late Tuesday night. Delhi, Ghaziabad, Noida, Meerut have received heavy rain late Tuesday night. After Tuesday, rain is also expected in many parts of Delhi on Wednesday. While Delhi-NCR has been relieved of the heat, the southern Indian state of Kerala is yet to see any respite from floods and rains. The Met Department has also warned of heavy rain in central Kerala in the next two days.

In Kerala, a red alert has also been sounded in Malappuram and Kozhikode districts following heavy rains. However, heavy rain has also been warned in many parts of central Kerala. However, Northern Kerala has received some relief from floods.

The death toll due to rain and floods in Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Gujarat has risen to over 225. In Uttar Pradesh, two people have lost their lives due to rain. Odisha has also issued a warning of heavy rain as the Bay of Bengal is under pressure. However, Maharashtra and Karnataka have received some relief on Tuesday.
