Kolkata: Mamata Banerjee today held her first meeting after being sworn in as West Bengal CM for the third time. Mamata then held a press conference to apprise her of the decisions taken on the corona epidemic. Mamata Banerjee has announced that local train services in Bengal will be suspended from Thursday. Hawkers, transporters and journalists will be given priority in the first dose of the vaccine.

CM Mamata Banerjee further said, "We held a meeting on Covid today in which several decisions were taken. The first decision is that family members will no longer have to wait for hours to take the bodies of those who lost their lives due to the virus. No family will have to wait for the funeral. Help line numbers are being issued. We want to control Covid". CM Banerjee has said that the government of 'Maa Mati Manush' has come to Bengal. A number of bans are being imposed in the wake of the corona epidemic.

She said that now all meetings will be virtualised. The entire Bengal will now have only 50 per cent attendance. 50% of private sector employees will work from home. Shopping malls, bars will all remain closed. Jewellery shops will be open from 12 noon to 3 pm. Small shops will function from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Home delivery will be extended. Banks will continue from 10 am to 2 pm. There is a ban on the crowd of people. There will be no public program anywhere without permission.
