Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. The actor is leaving no stone unturned in promoting the film Govinda Naam Mera.  In a recent interview, the actor has compared the stardom of Katrina Kaif with Hema Malini and Amitabh Bachchan.

Vicky Kaushal speaking about his wife Katrina Kaif said, “I always say that an industry is known by a few faces. With her work, Katrina has become one of those faces, along with Amitabh Bachchan. who represent the industry on the international platform. Hema Malini used to be one of these faces,” 

He further said, “Katrina has achieved that status and I believe it is not easy to reach there. I believe, whatever she has done and achieved, she did it all on her own. I respect her a lot for that, and I have a long way to go before I reach there.I feel it is good that we respect each other, and also have a lot to learn from each other.”

Speaking about his relationship with the actress he said , "It’s been beautiful. It’s been like the best chapter of my life. It’s the most wonderful feeling to have a companion with whom you connect, who understands you and who you understand thoroughly. Because it puts you in a peaceful, blissful state of mind that makes you feel loved all the time. And when you feel loved, you feel like giving love not just at home but outside the house as well. It just brings out the best version of yourself."

On the personal front, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary earlier this month. The couple got married on December 9, 2021, at the Six Senses Resort, Fort Barwara in Rajasthan in a private ceremony in presence of family and close friends. On the work front, Katrina was last seen in the horror comedy Phone Bhoot with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter this year. Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal was last seen in  Govinda Naam Mera. The film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
