Chennai: Tamil Nadu CM Palaniswami has made a big announcement on Thursday about the global pandemic Coronavirus vaccine. CM K Palaniswamy said that when the corona vaccine is ready, it will be provided to all the people of the state for free. Tamil Nadu has become the first state in the country to make such a declaration.
10,780 people have lost their lives due to Coronavirus infection in the state so far. So far, 6 lakh 97 thousand 116 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in the state. The number of active cases is 35,480. 6 lakh 50 thousand 856 patients have been recovered in the state so far. According to the Health Ministry, 39 people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours due to the epidemic in Tamil Nadu. Earlier Palaniswami had wished the Union Home Minister Amit Shah a happy birthday and wished him well.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami also sent a bouquet of flowers to Shah. He said, 'Happy birthday to you. I pray to God to give you good health to serve the country.'
