All schools, colleges are following corona protocol: Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has decided to open all the educational institutions in the state from September 1, in this regard, Education Minister Sabita Indra Reddy on Saturday inspected the Mahboobia School in the city and took stock of the facilities amid the Corona protocol.

The minister said that due to the low number of corona cases, the government has decided to restart schools and colleges from September 1 and parents can send their children without any fear. Parents have to believe that all corona measures are followed in schools and colleges. He said that since online classes are not giving better results, there is a need for regular classes. The Minister also said that all the schools and colleges are following the entire protocol of sanitisation, wearing of masks and keeping the premises clean.

The government directed all educational institutions to think on humanitarian grounds and not to pressurize parents for fees. He said that like homes, every kind of care is being taken by the government in schools and colleges. He said that parents should cooperate for regular classes. He said that the government would decide on education volunteers and part-time trainers for this purpose.
