All You Need to Take Note of About Trains Set Off by PM Modi at Ayodhya's New Rail Terminal

AYODHYA: Prime Minister Modi has launched multiple new fast trains from Ayodhya's brand-new railway station ahead of the upcoming inauguration of the Ram Temple next year. On Saturday, he introduced eight trains, two called Amrit Bharat and six named Vande Bharat, which will operate to and from the redesigned Ayodhya Dham Railway Station.

These trains will connect various cities such as Bengaluru, New Delhi, Coimbatore, Amritsar, and Mumbai. The Amrit Bharat trains are superfast with special features like LHB push-pull technology, better luggage racks, seats, charging points, LED lights, CCTV, and an information system.

The eight Vande Bharat trains will operate between the following stations:

  • Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express
  • Amritsar-Delhi Vande Bharat Express
  • Coimbatore-Bangalore Cantt Vande Bharat Express
  • Mangalore-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express
  • Jalna-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express
  • Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Vande Bharat Express

All of these trains will include a stop at the new Ayodhya Dham Railway Station. The first phase of this station, which the Prime Minister inaugurated on Saturday, was built at a cost exceeding Rs 240 crore.

The Vande Bharat trains will run between stations like Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi, Amritsar-Delhi, Coimbatore-Bangalore Cantt, Mangalore-Madgaon, Jalna-Mumbai, and Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal. These trains will also include the newly developed Ayodhya Dham Railway Station as a stop.

The first phase of the new station cost more than Rs 240 crore and boasts modern amenities like lifts, escalators, food plazas, shops catering to religious needs, cloakrooms, child care rooms, and waiting halls. The station aims to be 'accessible for all' and has been certified as a 'green station building' by the IGBC (Indian Green Building Council).
