Allu Arjun is one of the most popular south stars and enjoys a massive fan following. The actor has won one of the biggest and most prestigious Awards in the nation. He added one of the biggest recognition to his name by winning the title of 'Indian Of The Year 2022' in the Entertainment category at Delhi. He became the first South Indian actor to receive this feat.

In his speech after receiving the award, Indian of the Year 2022. He said, “Indian cinema, India kabhi jhukega nahin (Indian cinema, India will never bow down).” Allu Arjun also opens up on Bollywood and south, “I’ve been working in the film industry for 20 years now. I’ve received many awards in the south, this is the first time I’m ever receiving an award from the north so it’s very special for me,” 

He further speaking about the differences said, “I am very glad, that we do have our differences… like north and south… but you know the beauty of this country is the diversity. When this movie was made, it was celebrated by India, so we are all sons and daughters of the Indian film industry. We’re proud that it’s Indian cinema’s victory and that we could provide service to the country with entertainment in these tough times,”

Allu Arjun played Pushpa Raj in Sukumar's directorial Pushpa: The Rise. After the blockbuster first part. The actor is all set to begin the shoot of sequel too. The film was recently launched with a pooja ceremony. The Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo star will soon start work on the sequel,  Pushpa : The Rule.
