One of the most loved south actors Vijay Deverakonda recently made his bollywood debut with Liger with Ananya Panday but the film failed to win the box office battle. Liger also called for a boycott.

Vijay Deverakonda recently bagged an award at the event, got all emotional while speaking about the unexpected failure. “We all have good days, we all have not-so-good days, we all have sh**ty days. But irrespective of how we feel, we need to get up. Maybe I didn’t want to be here, taking this award. But I came here and as I speak to you, I promise that I will get the job done for all of you, and you will be entertained. And great cinema will be made. Thank you.”

Earlier Vijay Devarkonda on the Boycott trends said, "I believe that life has taught me to be a fighter. When I was younger I had to fight for respect and money...later I had to fight for my place in the industry and even to get work. Every film was like a tough fight for me. When I was doing my first film, we couldn't find a producer to bankroll it, so I did the film for free, we had to raise money to cover production expenses. At that point, I was nobody in the industry. When my third film Arjun Reddy was about to be out, we faced protest before it even hit the theatres. But it turned out to be a hit at the box office and now people know me because of my work in the film."
