Allu Sirish is awarded the Crossover Star of the Year at a popular Fashion Week in Kochi. This award for given as a recognition for his work in 1971. And this is the first time a Telugu actor is receiving such an award. Sirish now becomes the first ever Telugu actor to bag such an honourable award and enters an elite club.

Allu has made his debut in Malayalam cinema with a war drama titled 1971 which starred Mohanlal in lead role. The film went on to become a success in Malayalam and Sirish received good appreciation for his performance as an armed forces officer. And his exploration in Malayalam cinema seems to have gotten him bigger appreciation. Allu Sirish.

On the work front, Sirish was last seen in Okka Kshanam which was a thriller directed by Vi Anand. Sirish will next be seen in ABCD which is an official remake of Malayalam film with the same title. The original starred Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role and had Aparna Gopinath and Tovino Thomas in other lead roles. The film was a huge success in Malayalam and Sirish will look to achieve a similar success in Telugu. This will be Sirish’s sixth film in his career and the actor will look to continue his success streak.
