Indian film actor Rana Dugubatti is celebrating his birthday today. He was born on 14 December 1984 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. His father's name is Dugubatti Suresh Babu, a Telugu filmmaker. His mother's name is Lakshmi Dugubatti. His grandfather Telugu filmmaker D. Ramanaidu has been awarded with Padma Shri, the highest honour in the country. His uncle Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya are one of the successful actors in the Telugu world. Rana Dugubatti is a Telugu actor as well as a visual effects maker and photographer. He has also been awarded the State Nandi Award in 2006 for Telugu film actor Mahesh Babu starrer movie Sanakudu. In addition, he has also been awarded the National Award for the film Bommalata - A Bellyful of Dreams.
Rana learned the technicalities of photography from the Konik Institute of Imaging and Technology. He then produced several documentaries and commercials in Chennai. He moved from Chennai to Hyderabad and started his father's production house. He earned knowledge of things related to art and craft, film making from his uncle and father.
Rana Daggubati started his acting career in the political thriller film Leader in 2010. He made his Bollywood debut in the year 2011 with the film Dum Maro Dum. In this film, he received a lot of critical applause for his acting. After this film, he was awarded the Tenth Most Desirable Man by the Times of India. Subsequently, he acted in several Tamil Telugu films.
