Jammu, Today, A batch comprising of 311 pilgrims i.e. the smallest batch of this year’s Amarnath Yatra, left for twin base camps of Amarnath cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas amid tight security.
According to the police officer, “a total of 311 pilgrims, including 203 men, 73 women and 35 sadhus, left in a caravan of nine vehicles from the Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu for the twin base camps of Pahalgam and Baltal in Kashmir”.
Yesterday, 1,528 pilgrims paid obeisance at the holy cave as well as till now, 2,11,707 pilgrims have paid obeisance at the Amarnath cave shrine.
