Amazon India announced on Friday that it will invest in Hyderabad. Amazon Web Services is an Amazon.com company. The company is now investing Rs 20,761 crore ($2.77 billion) to build multiple data centers in Hyderabad. The company is in line with its continuous investment philosophy and trust in state opportunities and the state government's business-friendly policies.
To expand its work, Amazon India has expanded its fulfillment infrastructure in Telangana with two new success centres (FC) in Hyderabad. With this infrastructure, Amazon.in now provides more than 23,000 sellers in Telangana with storage capacity of more than 4.5 million cubic feet in four fulfillment centers. Amazon is its largest fulfillment center in Hyderabad.
In August 2019, Amazon launched its largest campus in Hyderabad worldwide. The campus, spread over 9.5 acres, is built to support more than 15,000 employees and reiterates Amazon's commitment to Telangana.
