After having a big bash in the online retailing market, Amazon is planning to have the offline stores too. In idea to expand the business, online retailing giant Amazon has decided to open the grocery stores in India.
However, the news is not surprising, as Amazon has opened a bookstore in New York. Moreover, this would be the very first offline store by Amazon in India. The company works in the unique method, as you can buy a product via Amazon Go service and then just go to the store, pick your product and come out.
Amazon said in a statement, "Excited by the Indian government’s efforts to encourage foreign investment in a ‘stronger food supply chain.”
