Due to the Corona crisis many film makers are releasing their upcoming movies on the Direct OTT platform. Big movies like Akshay Kumar's Lakshmi and Varun Dhawan's Coolie No.1 were released on OTT to save the film makers from big loss. According to trade expert, this trend will continue in the coming time and not only medium but big film makers can also take their movies to OTT platform.

If the report came out at the beginning of 2021, then it is being told that the makers of the movie 'Mumbai Saga' have decided to release their film on Direct OTT and because of this they have joined hands with Amazon Prime Video. A portal named PeepingMoon has reported in its report that the makers of Mumbai Saga have done deal with Amazon Prime Video for about Rs 80 crore.

Looking to release 'Mumbai Saga' with Amazon Prime Video in the first quarter of 2021. 'Mumbai Saga' is directed by Sanjay Gupta and the movie will feature stars like Gulshan Grover, Sameer Soni, Amol Gupte, Prateek Babbar, Kajal Aggarwal, John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi and Jackie Shroff. It is the biggest multistarrer movie to be released in the year 2021, which T-series has produced in association with White Feather Production.
