For making its mark in the television space, Amazon has now launched its first series of televisions under the AmazonBasics brand in India. The AmazonBasics TVs will launch in 50-inch and 55-inch models, which priced Rs 29,999 and Rs 34,999 respectively. Both these model of the televisions have been listed on the e-commerce site Amazon India.
The AmazonBasics Fire TV Edition TVs comes with 4K HDR LED display panels. It is said that it has a viewing angle of up to 178-degrees. Dolby Vision has supported in this smart TV as well as Dolby Atmos formats are also available for HDR and audio. The AmazonBasics TVs would compete with the entry-level 4K smart TVs from brands like TCL, Xiaomi, Hisense, and Vu. The AmazonBasics Fire TV Edition TVs features with inbuilt 20-Watt speakers, 4K Ultra HD Smart LED screens. There are also built-in Alexa voice controls.
Talking about the other features of the televisions, it includes three HDMI ports, two USB ports and quad-core Amlogic processor. Its screen also has a peak refresh rate of 60Hz. The e-commerce giant is about to launch a 43-inch 4K TV in India which will have the similar features alongside a 32-inch 720p TV running and a 43-inch 1080p TV on its own Fire TV OS, the media has reported.
