The Indian airline IndiGo on Thursday claimed that some of its servers have been hacked earlier in the month of December and the hackers can also upload some internal documents on public platforms. In an official statement, IndiGo said, "We would like to disclose that some of our servers were subject to a hacking incident earlier this month."
The airlines further said, "We were able to restore our systems in a very short span of time with minimal impact." IndiGo also said that there were some segments of data servers that were breached, and therefore there is a possibility that some internal documents of the company can be uploaded by the hackers on public platforms.
It further added, "We have realised the seriousness of this issue and we are continuing to engage with all relevant experts and law enforcement to ensure that the incident is investigated in details."
