Bhubaneswar: After the Adani Group, Reliance Foundation has also extended a helping hand to the victims of the tragic train accident in Balasore, Odisha. Actually, 'Reliance Foundation' has made 10 big announcements to help the victims of the accident and their families. From free treatment, wheelchairs, artificial limbs and livestock for the family, the list has announced.

According to reports, Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Ambani on Monday (June 5) expressed condolences to the families of the victims of the train accidents. "Reliance team is available 24 hours a day to help the victims and is providing assistance.  Nita Ambani said in a statement, "It is with a heavy heart that I express my condolences to the families of the victims of the Odisha train accident on behalf of Reliance Foundation. As soon as we came to know about the accident, our special disaster management team has been sent to the spot for relief and rescue. Our team is helping the injured 24 hours a day." 

Reliance Foundation has announced to provide free fuel for ambulances deployed in disaster response through the Jio-BP network (Reliance Petrol Pump). Along with this, free ration including flour, sugar, pulses, rice, salt and cooking oil has also been announced for the next 6 months to the affected families through Reliance Stores. Along with this, Reliance Foundation has said to provide free medicine and free treatment for the injured. Not only this, Reliance Foundation will also provide employment through Jio and Reliance Retail to one of the family members of the deceased as needed. Along with this, it has also announced to provide new employment opportunities to the disabled by helping the disabled by giving wheelchairs and artificial limbs to the injured.

Along with this, Reliance Foundation has announced to provide microfinance and other training to the women who are victims after the death of the sole breadwinner of the family. At the same time, livestock like cows, buffaloes, goats, poultry have also been announced for the livelihood of rural families affected by the accident. Along with this, free internet and calling facility will also be provided for 1 year to the victim's family member to get employment.

Adani took up the responsibility of education:-

Businessman Gautam Adani tweeted on Sunday (June 4) that 'We are all deeply disturbed by the train accident in Orissa. We have decided that the Adani Group will take care of the school education of the innocents who have lost their parents in this accident. It is the joint responsibility of all of us to support the victims and their families and give a better tomorrow to the children.'
