The US Air Force, in collaboration with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) of the Department of Energy, examines B 61-21. It is a gravity bomb that can reach up to three feet of earth before bursting. It is a GPS guided state-of-the-art Gravity Bomb, which is being developed since 2008.

The objective of this program was to increase the service life of the bomb. According to the report, this is the first test of its kind. Gravity bombs will give weapons three times more accuracy. According to the Military.com, F-15 E Strike Eagle and F-16 Fighting Falcon were also tested before this. The B-61 was also tested for the F-35 which would soon be available as another option. Significantly, the Federation of American Scientists has criticized it.

According to a release from the NNSA, the department has conducted two non-nucleic system qualification flight tests. NSSA's Principal Assistant Deputy General Manager Michael Greg said these two qualification tests would serve the country's security needs.

After being President, President Donald Trump revised the Nuclear Modernization Program to 30 years. These programs will be completed by 2046 and the total cost will be $ 1.2 trillion. This program was started in Barack Obama's regime.

According to the report, it is part of America's strategy to limit weapons. The report said that this experiment has been done to prohibit any kind of nuclear attack on the US and its partner countries. It is expected that its first consignment will be completed by 2020.
