WASHINGTON: U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has threatened to impose an additional bans on Iran over increasing the storage capacity of enriched uranium by the limits set in the 2015 nuclear deal. According to the news agency AFE, Pompeo wrote on Twitter on Sunday that Iran's recent proliferation of its nuclear program would put more bans on it and isolate it internationally.

Pompeo further noted that countries must restore long-term standards to curb the promotion of Iran's nuclear program. The nuclear-armed Iranian empire will become a greater threat to the world. Iran said on Sunday that it would raise its uranium enrichment level to 3.67 percent, which is the second violation of the nuclear deal, but Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said the move could be stopped if European countries continue to live on their commitments.

The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) limited Iran's nuclear program in 2015 in exchange for sanctions relief. Tensions arose with Iran after the United States pulled itself out of the nuclear deal with Iran last year, and Tensions with U.S. President Donald Trump arose.
