New Delhi: Amidst the ongoing bloody conflict in Sudan, Operation Kaveri, launched to bring back the stranded Indians there, is continuing. Meanwhile, 194 more Indians evacuated from Sudan have been safely delivered to their homes. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi has given information in this regard. According to Arindam Bagchi's tweet, these 194 people have been brought back to their homeland through different flights from Jeddah.
All these people have been brought to Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi and Mumbai airports. Meanwhile, a person who returned safely from Sudan told that India has a very good and strong image in Sudan. A country like America is not able to evacuate its people from there, but the Government of India did it and evacuate its people safely. The person who reached Mumbai told that, I thank the government and the entire management team for this step.
So far more than 3 thousand Indian citizens have been brought back safely from Sudan. Earlier on Tuesday, a batch of 135 passengers from Sudan reached Jeddah. Whereas 231 passengers from Jeddah were brought to Ahmedabad. Let us tell you, to get the Indian out of Sudan safely, it is being brought to India through Jeddah.
