On August 19 alone, 3,000 people have been brought out of Kabul safely. A White House official said, 'On August 19, the United States evacuated 3,000 people from Kabul airport via 16 C-17 Globemaster planes. Out of this, 350 U.S. citizens were evacuated. Additional people evacuated include family members of U.S. citizens, SIV applicants, and their families and Afghans.' The official said, 'In the last 24 hours, the U.S. Army has sent 11 charter planes. We've evacuated 9,000 people since August 14. Since the end of July, we have evacuated about 14,000 people.'
